Free read ´ This Changes Everything The first book on the movement that has changed the political landscape Features contributions from veteran progressive observers and Occupy activists Goes beyond describing events to explore the larger meaning of the movement The Occupy Wall Street movement named the core issue of our time the overwhelming power of Wall Street and large corporations something the political establishment and most media have long ignored But the movement goes far beyond this critiue it is changing everything the way people view themselves and the world the kind of society they believe is possible and their involvement in creating a society that works for. If i am to describe this book i d say it was premature It s clear that it was put together in such haste as to publish it to meet a deadline or rather spread awareness of the movement during the time of the occupationIt s not actually a book it s of a collection of different articles written by many people some of which were actually involved in the Occupy movement The book does give a clear idea about what was going on on the inside of the movement but it vaguely touches the reasons behind the Occupy Wall Street Movement And since the chapters articles of the book were written by many different people there is just a lot of repetitionThe only thing that would make me recommend this book is that it s a very short one 84 pages But after reading it i have to say that i m still to see a book that goes into details about all the ins and outs of the Occupy Movement Melancholy and The Critiue of Modernity Søren Kierkegaard's Religious Psychology events to Alvie Eats Soup explore the larger meaning of the movement The Occupy Wall Street movement named the core issue of our time the overwhelming power of Wall Street and large corporations something the political Conning Harvard establishment and most media have long ignored But the movement goes far beyond this critiue it is changing SheHerHers everything the way people view themselves and the world the kind of society they believe is possible and their involvement in creating a society that works for.
